…flip flops… …geese returning to our pond to have their gosslings……flowers sprouting in the gardens… …picnics… …fun on the trampoline… …canoeing… …buzzards nesting in the barn….…bike rides and rollerblading… …BUT BEST OF ALL……litters of fluffy puppies… …filling the house with love!!!

Last weekend I flew out to Baltimore, Maryland to buy a car and spend time with some dear friends I haven’t seen in a long time. One of the highlights of my weekend was a visit to Columbia where Buckeye–one of Lizzie’s four year old puppies–lives with Mellie and Chuck and his buddies Brandy, a miniature Goldendoodle, and Lani, a rescued miniature poodle. Mellie and Chuck call Buckeye their “Gentle Giant”. He truly is the sweetest…all 105 pounds of him!

Fall has arrived here in Kentucky. Nights are cooler now, but we enjoy warm and sunny afternoons. A special thank you to all of you who have kept in touch—updating us as your puppy grows:) We love all the pictures and notes!~mary~
